During a Camp Perry competition in 2019, team shooter David Wilson found himself in a losing battle with sun glare. A sweat rag tossed over his hat brim worked well enough to inspire a purpose-built solution.
After years of prototypes and feedback from other shooters, that range-made idea became the Black Coyote Sunshade now available through White Oak Armament.

Our first National Trophy Infantry Team Match at Camp Perry put six shooters and two coaches through rapid-fire stages at 600, 500, 300, and 200 yards.
Controlling breathing, listening for wind calls over the gunfire, and working through flying brass made for an intense—and unforgettable—team match.
