The Black Coyote Sunshade
Purpose-built simplicity
A battle with sun glare at Camp Perry led Black Coyote shooter David Wilson to improvise with a sweat rag over his hat brim. It worked—and inspired a sunshade made specifically for the firing line.
The quilted fabric shade slips over a standard baseball- or trucker-style hat. Side flaps reduce glare and peripheral distractions while leaving room for earmuffs and other hearing protection. When the string is over, it folds small enough to stow in a pocket or range bag.
